80mm diesel diaphragm pumps use the reciprocating action of internal rubber diaphragms to create a flow of water. The nitrile rubber diaphragms and check valves ensure that priming is unnecessary and that dry running is not an issue. The maximum suction lift that these water pumps are capable of is 8 metres, however 6 metres or less is recommended.
These heavy duty water pumps have excellent pumping capabilities, as they can pump dirty water containing mud, sludge, sand and suspended spherical solids up to 40mm. They are robust and tough pieces of equipment, with aluminium pump ends, needle bearings and oil filled gear units which help to ensure reliable pumping even in challenging site conditions. The wheel trolley that the pump is mounted on makes these machines very portable. These diesel powered diaphragm pumps are designed to be placed outside of the flooded area. They use a suction hose to draw water out of the flooded area, and a layflat delivery hose to pump it away.
