Roof Ladder Hire Industry-Standard Roof Crawlers Our roof ladders are high quality, industry-standard equipment designed for accessing roofs safely. They are lightweight aluminium with large wheels, which you can roll up a roof easily. Once the ridge hook has cleared the edge of the roof, you can turn the ladder over, and the hook will secure it into place on the top. You can then climb up onto the roof, keeping your hands on the rungs and not up the side of the frame. The rubber covered cylindrical rungs distribute weight evenly, preventing damage to roofs. Roof ladders, also known as 'roof crawlers', allow safe and convenient access for roof repair, cleaning, chimney repair and installation jobs. The heavy-duty roof hook offers a firm grip across the highest point of an apex roof. It also features a large, non-slip rubber end bar, offering additional grip and protection of the roof itself. The box section stiles offer strength and rigidity for confident climbing. We have roof ladders available in 3 sizes. We supply a 4.9m single section with 19 rungs, a 5.4m single section with 21 rungs, and a 6.6m two-section with 15+13 rungs. The double section extending roof ladder has heavy-duty locking catches to prevent the sections from separating or collapsing when in use. Please note: Before using a roof ladder, ensure that the roof is suitable for climbing and that it will be able to take your weight. You must set the length of the ladder whilst on the ground, as you can not alter the size of the ladder once it is in the working position. You must have somebody observe you whilst using the ladder to guide you into place, advising you where the rungs are, especially when you are moving back down the ladder.
